1 June 2010 saw the coming together of two of the UK's longest-established building societies, as the merger of Skipton and Chesham went ahead.

- The latest audited accounts of each Society show Skipton having total assets of £15.6 billion (as at 31 December 2009) and Chesham having total assets of £231 million (as at 30 November 2009).
- All members can now transact in any one of our 92 branches and have access to Skipton's telephone, postal and internet facilities.
